The success story of a Californian start-up
The Olaplex brand was launched in 2014 in a small garage in Santa Barbara (it seems all great stories start in a garage!). The initiative was led by two men, Dr. Eric Pressly and Dr. Craig Hawker.

Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate is present in the composition of the 12 products of the brand. Used before or after a technical service, BADD is able to reconstruct broken hair bonds.
Indeed, it acts on the molecular structure of the hair fiber by rapidly restoring broken disulfide bonds, which are responsible for dry and brittle hair.
These bonds can be broken by a coloring/bleaching process, but also by overly aggressive thermal or mechanical treatments.
