Primer is a liquid that helps gel adhere more easily to your nail. It should be used before applying gel or semi-permanent polish.
Be careful not to use it too often. Its acid-based formulation can weaken your nails. Also, do not apply it to your cuticles, especially if they are damaged.
Unlike other products in a gel manicure, primer does not need to be cured under a UV lamp. It dries very quickly in the open air.
