The side with 180 grit is dedicated mainly to opacifying the natural nail (but also to shaping it if the nail is not very hard), and the 150 grit side, which is coarser, is dedicated to shaping the nail, especially if the nail is quite hard.
The ergonomic shape of this file adapts to the shape of the nails, making filing easier.
