Lacquered
Lacquered polishes cover nails with a uniform, non-transparent color. For references, click here !
In the light warm tones, you can find the shades:
- Coral red-orange (n°14)
- Blood Orange (n°15)
- Sorbet (n°74) or Sunrise (n°75).
The brown shades will be found in the dark warm tones with the shades:
- Chocolate (n°34)
- Dark Brown (n°35)
- Candied Chestnut (n°40).
Regarding the light cool tones, find them through the polishes:
- Cream White (n°1)
- Opaque White (n°2)
- Pink White (n°3)
- Light Taupe (n°4)
- Candy Pink (n°6)
- Almond Green (n°20)
- Milk Mint (n°67)

Pearlescent
Pearlescent colors refer to the natural color of the inside of a seashell, especially pearl oysters, which have smooth, shiny reflections. Thus, you can find light tones through:

- Cotton Candy (n°54)
- Pearled Pink (n°55).
Dark tones include Electric Violet (n°31), Blueberry (n°47), Plum (n°49).
Iridescent
Finally, iridescent colors are inspired by the rainbow-hued reflections found on soap bubbles or the wings of certain butterflies. In light tones, you can find the shades Golden (n°44) and Opaque Silver (n°45), and in dark tones, the shades Dark Green (n°42), Black (n°43), Transparent Silver (n°46), and Raspberry (n°51).
Glitter
Indeed, glitter polishes add volume and a shimmering effect to nails.
Light tones include Silver (n°56), Pink (n°58) and dark tones, Ruby Red (n°60).
For french manicure, Opaque White (n°1) and Pink White (n°2) polishes will be preferred.
To anticipate the exam, make sure you have polishes of different textures (lacquer, iridescent, and pearlescent), warm and cool tones for each harmony (light and dark), as well as polishes to perform a french manicure. It is also advisable to have a transparent base coat. You are now ready to take the exam with the polishes needed for the CAP.
