In this type of extension, hair strands are attached to a thin adhesive strip which is then affixed to the client's natural hair root using fixing pliers. This method is quick and simple; a basic application can be done in just 20 minutes. Tape-in extensions can last approximately three months. They can be reused up to three times by simply replacing the adhesive tape. An invisible version is also available for a more discreet volume and color effect.
Clip-in hair extensions
Clip-in hair extensions are attached to the client's natural hair using clips, without chemicals or adhesives. This is the fastest application system, which can be installed and removed in minutes, even at home. It is generally used for temporary needs or special events. Clip-in extensions do not have a specific lifespan, but can last for many years with good care. An invisible version using micro-clips is available for more volume and color effects.
Hair extensions with rings (micro rings)
Hair extensions with metal rings are attached to the client's natural strands using special pliers. This method takes time to install, but is quite durable, lasting up to 6 months. After removal, the hair can be reused by replacing the rings for a new application. Versions with flat-tips offer better aesthetics.
Weft hair extensions
This system involves sewing hair together in a single weft of varying width. It is then attached to the client's hair root with metal rings, keratin bonds. But also clips or invisible thread.
