______________

1 – Hair Dyes

Coloration permanente - 90ml Mounir

The Mounir brand has designed new color ranges that enhance traditional colors found in most hair salons, while also offering original new shades. These shades can be used like traditional colors. Permanent hair dyes feature unique shades that will apply evenly to your clients' hair, releasing a pleasant scent if you use them with Mounir oxidant. They are highly pigmented and will make hair shinier. For healthy hair!

Hair Dyes and Gray and White Hair

Natural bases are soft colors. They will allow you to cover more or less white hair. Thus, bases:

  • 1.0, 3.0, 4.0, ... 10.0 will cover up to 70% of white hair
  • 1.00, 3.00, 4.00, ... 10.00 will cover more than 70% of white hair

As you can see, with Mounir products, you can completely cover 100% of gray-white hair. However, some cases may be considered exceptions, such as when white hair is thick. In this case, the ratio should be 1 + 1 and not 1 + 1 ½.

The optimal dosage for colors is 1 part color to 1.5 parts oxidant.

Example: For 30 ml of coloring cream, add 45 ml of oxidant.

While most coloring brands offer rather generic colors, Mounir goes further. With extremely precise colors such as a 7.444 copper that makes the copper absolutely intense, the professional brand's colors will ensure you produce the colors your clients dream of.

Note that so-called "classic" colors (e.g., 4.0) will appear lighter than their competitors' equivalents. Each company producing hair colors has its own way of designing them based on the hair types they use. Consequently, some shades may be considered ¼ or ½ degree different from market offerings depending on the country.

Toners from Hair Dyes

They can also be used as toners for your clients' hair colors. However, this will be on condition that you work them with a 10 or 20 volume oxidant. From there, you can formulate your own toners.

For example, the following formulas: 7.12 + 5.23 + 5.11 or 12.16 + 7 MR.

You can combine colors and be creative! All toners can be done directly after the hair bleaching process. Monsieur Mounir sometimes creates new toners himself with his products.

Mounir is not necessarily the first to create new shades. However, with extremely rich experience in hair salons, he has been able, through his technical knowledge and talent, to find new shades that will each have their utility in the salon.

The Olive Range

Furthermore, Mounir offers entire ranges that you won't find anywhere else. For example, the Olive range, which is composed of a color coding ranging from 4.9 to 9.9. These shades are perfect for intensifying hair depth and neutralizing warm tones, for a very natural finish. Similarly, light brown hair color can be achieved by adding 6.9 or 7.9 to the toner mix, in case we have a hair color of 6.3 or 8.3, the olive family helps us eliminate orange and golden reflections from the hair, in order to obtain a cool tone.

Metallics

Metallic shades allow for pink or purple tips in the hair.

Regarding the pink reflection, it is very important to ensure that the bleaching is done on healthy hair. If the hair is damaged or bleached multiple times, the hair will absorb the product and then release it, meaning it will not stick to the hair. Moreover, if you want to use it as a toner, it should be exposed to the hair longer and add 5.23 to strengthen the color.

The lightening base must be a clear yellow.

Metallic Violet : The main reflection is ash. It will allow you to get a gray if you have a yellow base while avoiding green.

Metallic Rose: This range will allow you to get a platinum blonde or even white thanks to the pink inside.

Correctors

Correctors are Mounir's key to achieving desired colors. They should be used to intensify the previously used color.

  • Use 0.66 to intensify red color.
  • 0.22 is used to intensify purple color (this is a very intense reflection).
  • 0.10 is gray / blue. To be used, for example, when you do a blue / black hair color to add more blue to it (it is also a very intense reflection).

Use a 0.00 corrector (this is the equivalent of CLEAR) to lighten a mixture; this will help when you want to reduce certain reflections or the intensity of the color.

Also, if you want to make a red color but not as intense as the hair strand in the color chart, add the clear corrector, so you can reduce the color intensity by half.

0.33 is used in two ways. You can add it to the mix to intensify golden colors or to solve many challenges.

For example, if you are working on light yellow hair using 5.11 or 5.23, and if the final results have a violet or gray tone but you want a beige tone, add 2 to 3 cm of 0.33 to a bowl and mix it with 10 or 20 volume oxidant and 40 ml or 50 ml of water. The liquid mixture is now used as a golden shampoo, and it will remove unwanted gray or violet.

Finally, your corrector can also be used as a shampoo. This will add reflections to the hair. To do this, you must mix 5 to 10 ml of color with a 20 volume oxidant, a shampoo (20 to 30 ml) as well as water at the end. Mix everything in the Mounir shaker to have a homogeneous mixture.

Highlifts

The Highlift series works on natural hair color. For example, if we have #5 hair, by adding the Highlift series, you can get sandy colors. If there is already a slight low light in the hair, it gives a very natural hair color when combined with 20 volume oxidant. Moreover, Monsieur Mounir also uses the Highlift series on blondes: if a client has a hair color of 9, it will turn out wonderfully if numbers from the Highlift series are used.

If you want to use them as super lighteners, it's possible. Mix a highlift with your 30 volume oxidant for a development time of 45 minutes.

2- Bleaching

Oxidizing Cream Emulsion

Émulsion oxydante en crème - 1000ml Mounir

Mounir's oxidizing cream emulsion will allow you to bleach your client's hair to produce the perfect color! In addition, this very pleasant-smelling product will protect the hair from dehydration and dullness while allowing the color you apply to fully assert itself. Formulated for optimal use with bleaching powder.

The 40 can be used to recharge or to remove color stains.

Bleaching Powder

poudre décolorante

The bleaching powder works hand in hand with Mounir oxidant, allowing you to achieve the desired blonde with minimal damage to the hair. The product's texture is ideal for working with or without foil. It is an essential product for a magnificent result.

Note that the bleach only lightens up to 7 levels. This is gentle and will allow you to be very precise in your bleaching. This is a deliberate choice by Mounir to be more respectful of the hair. Therefore, it should not be combined with a toning powder.

Its perfect texture does not release water, while its consistency is light. Moreover, it does not swell.

The Arkitekt

Additif protecteur Arkitekt Hair Builder - 250ml Mounir

To strengthen the hair fiber, choose Arkitekt. This new generation product , in the form of a liquid treatment, will allow you to rebuild and strengthen hair fibers. It deeply nourishes the hair by injecting natural proteins and locking in moisture in the cells. Unlike some other competitors, this product is transparent. It will therefore have no impact on the bleaching performed. What's more, it does not slow down or stop it in any way.

For hair stronger than ever, to rebuild and protect it, Arkitekt is the product to choose.

There are two ways to use Arkitekt. First, as a protector during bleaching, you simply need to add a few drops to the bleaching product when mixing, before applying it to the hair. Mix thoroughly so that the whole is homogeneous.

The second method of use is actually as a deep treatment. To do this, apply a few drops of Arkitekt to the hair before gently massaging it. Feel free to comb it to spread the product well.

3 – Bonbons

coloration bonbon mounir

The "Bonbons" are Mounir's signature. It's a blend of 3 color tubes. They refer to a range of soft colors, named by Mounir for a selection of magnificent colors. They range from Purple Moon, Desert Rose, and Milkyway, to Rabbit Beige, Casper, Sand, Sand Rose, Naughty Grey, or Russian Grey.

They work best if you use them on hair previously lightened up to 9 levels.

Hair must be completely bleached to use these products on the roots.

Finally, bonbons neutralize unwanted reflections without appearing darker. For this, we advise you to use a 0.20 tone to give a delicate touch of violet. Naughty Grey or Russian Blue tones can neutralize red or gold. In conclusion, three factors will help you determine the result: the lightening base, the processing time, and your experienced eye. Do not exceed 15 minutes of processing time with a 10 or 20 volume oxidant.

How to use shampoo in toner and why?

Normal shampoo is mainly mixed with darker color toners, to make the color less dark or to reduce its contrast, and to avoid getting a deep hair reflection, or on the contrary, to get a very smooth and light reflection.

What is the difference between Mounir bonbons, toners, and colors?

Bonbons are created by Mr. Mounir from various toners combined in a single tube and can provide you with a finished color without the use of other toners. As for Mounir color shades, they could be mixed to obtain a toner. For example, you can create your own toner with the following formula: 4.11 + 5.111 + 4.23 + 20 volume oxidant.

What is the difference between MMS and MTB shampoos?

MMS (Mounir metallic silver) is a silver shampoo, which we recommend for washing blonde hair, a maximum of 2 times a week to maintain gray and light colors. You can also use it on gray hair.

MTB (Mounir Toner Boost) is a silver shampoo but with a concentrated dosage. The function of this shampoo is to eliminate orange and yellow brassiness from the hair, and it can also be used as a booster after applying toner to lighten the hair by one or two shades.
