We owe this innovation to Maletti. Eden is not just a simple washing unit; it's a project that combines science, health, and beauty care. It allows for steam hair treatments , immersing the client in a bubble of well-being. If we had to summarize the concept in a few words, it's nothing more or less than a head sauna !

The shampoo moment then becomes a true moment of care ; for hair health and growth, but also for scalp health. Not to mention the fact that it's a product developed with the idea of achieving beauty in a more natural way.

How does steam affect the hair fiber?

Steam is the gaseous state of water, obtained by boiling. It is composed of a large number of microscopic particles that act on the skin and hair through two mechanisms: heat and humidity.

In contact with hair and scalp, heat and humidity slightly open the cuticle cells, dilate the pores of the scalp, stimulate gland secretion, and boost blood microcirculation. Consequently, hair growth is boosted and hair is cleansed (smog, sebum, toxins…).

Hot steam treatment also allows for the proper penetration of active ingredients contained in treatments used simultaneously.

The principle of this steam shampoo unit

Eden is composed as follows: a comfortable chair equipped with an electric leg rest and a reclining backrest, a large tilting basin fully equipped, a steam generator trolley Vapomist , and a transparent polycarbonate cover, the Igloo.

Another model exists, the Eden Hair Massage, which also includes the pneumatic massage option.

The first distinctive feature of Eden Plus is its basin. It offers a sensory experience thanks to an RGB LED lamp that changes colors for relaxing therapy. It is also equipped with an extra-comfortable neck rest to relax the cervical muscles.
On the basin, the Igloo is positioned. It is the one that preserves the steam around the hair! Thanks to its two openings, the hairdresser can easily access the client's head.

The steam itself is produced by the Vapomist; a small steam trolley with multiple functions. Depending on whether it's version 1.0 or 2.0, the options will differ.
For example, the Vapomist 2.0 adapts to normal water and offers a comprehensive multifunction keyboard including cold steam production and atomized cold water rinsing as a post-treatment. However, it requires a hydraulic installation.
In any case, both models can generate flavored steam by adding essential oils directly into the Vapomist.
