The difference between eyelash extensions and a lash lift
Eyelash extensions are simply artificial lashes that are attached to your natural lash line to give them a longer and fuller look.
There are several types of lash extensions, each with a different result.
- Classic eyelash extensions : the most natural lash application. It consists of gluing one extension to each natural lash, with a thickness of approximately 0.15 mm.
- Volume lash extensions: for a dramatic and glamorous volume. This technique offers dense lashes. The thickness is approximately 0.04 mm to 0.010 mm.
You'll have beautiful lashes from the moment you wake up, no more spending an hour in the bathroom, and even better, no more need to apply eye makeup!
Eyelash extensions provide full and glamorous lash results. They achieve the same effect as applying mascara, but with a much more intense look.

Eyelash extension care tips
- First, your lashes should not get wet for 48 hours. So avoid tear-jerking movies, no shampoo, and certainly no hammam session right afterwards.
- It is essential to clean your eyelash extensions with an eyelash extension cleansing foam. Dust and makeup residue can accumulate and get caught between your natural lashes and extensions. To prevent skin reactions, it is crucial to clean your lashes.
- Finally, it is recommended to brush your eyelash extensions with a spoolie or a mini mascara brush every day. Doing this will help to keep your extensions in order and distribute them into an even fan. Brush them gently from root to tip.
To fill in gaps, refills should be done monthly.
If you wish to strengthen your lashes after an eyelash extension application, we recommend applying castor oil daily.
As for the lash lift, this technique provides an ultra-glamorous curl. It is simply a lash lift created by a perm using silicone patches with a curved surface. After applying a specific adhesive, the beautician applies a perm lotion that is left on for 15 minutes. Finally, she applies a setting gel, which is also left on for 10-15 minutes. To optimize the lash lift, the beautician can apply a nourishing oil to the lashes.
You can also ask for an eyelash tint to intensify your gaze. This will save you from applying mascara every morning.
The lash lift therefore helps to open the eyes while remaining natural. However, it does not increase volume.

Lash lift care tips
A lash lift is a technique that does not require much maintenance. The only constraint is not to get your eyes wet for 12 to 24 hours after the treatment.
Be careful, however, to allow a period of 2 and a half months between each session to prevent your lashes from drying out.
