For one evening, the Alésiens were treated to a show where elegance and glitter came together.
This Monday, August 1, was the first time that the city of Alès hosted such a competition. In fact, the square in front of the Town Hall could see people being held the semi-final of Miss Languedoc 2022 ! This is one of the 29 regional elections for the most famous beauty contest in France!
One last step before the regional coronation
This event was greeted by the presence of two important Misses: Diane Leyre, Miss France 2022 and jury for the occasion, as well as Marion Ratié, Miss Languedoc-Roussillon 2021.
If the most beautiful woman in France attracted many looks, the 2000 spectators were still captivated by the scene and the 3 hours of show.
Thus, from 9 p.m., the 27 young women in the running paraded for obtain an entry ticket to the prestigious regional title.
The final must take place in Beaucaire, also in Gard, within a few days. The election of Miss Roussillon 2022, for its part, will be held at Barcarès on August 7.
And yes because this year, the former Languedoc-Roussillon will have the opportunity to present 2 candidates for the election of Miss France 2023. So twice the chances for the south to claim the coveted national title!

The contenders for Miss Languedoc 2022 pampered
For this semi-final, Gouiran Beauté had the honor of being a partner by offering its services for the beauty of misses. The brand was responsible for bringing the adequate furniture (dressing tables, armchairs, mirrors, etc.), electrical equipment (straightening irons, curlers, hair dryers, etc.), beauty products (hairdressers and makeup) as well as lots of gifts for all the candidates and miss guests!

Thus, the misses were entitled to magnificent hairstyles and bright but natural make-up before going on stage. There, they delighted the public by parading in different outfits: evening dress, swimsuit, circus costume, wedding dress... They were also able to demonstrate their thoughts and aspirations through carefully crafted speeches.

From 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. all day Monday, the public sent their votes by SMS. At the end of the evening and after the jury's verdict, this made it possible to select the following 14 candidates :
