In 2022, hair professional Schwarzkopf is making a lot of noise. And for good reason, the brand presents a major innovation: the re-adaptation of its flagship BC Bonacure range into a 100% vegan formula.
Haircare essentials
In fact, the new BC Clean Performance range does not differ much from the BC Bonacure range. Indeed, it is still composed of hair care products for 6 hair types:
- Color Freeze for color-treated hair (and its Silver variant)
- Repair Rescue for damaged hair
- Moisture Kick for normal to dry hair
- Volume Boost for fine hair
- Time Restore for mature hair
- Clean Balance for hair that tends to get oily quickly
Not forgetting theSun Protect sub-range to protect against sun exposure.
However, you may notice that the packaging is not the same. Schwarzkopf Professional has opted for bottles, tubes and jars with colored lettering on a white background. The preservation of colors thus allows regulars to recognize their favorite range. As for white, it is reminiscent of the brand's commitment to clean beauty !
BC Clean Performance, or "clean beauty"
If this range bears this name, it is not without reason. BC Clean Performance incorporates professional formulas that are 100% vegan, meaning they contain no animal-derived ingredients. The compositions are also guaranteed free of superfluous ingredients : goodbye sulfates, silicones, parabens, mineral oils, microplastics and artificial colorants that damage our hair!
For this range with advanced technology, Schwarzkopf has ensured that each active ingredient is highly biodegradable.
BC Clean Performance thus earns only good points, because these clean formulas do not in any way alter the professional effectiveness that its big sister, the BC Bonacure range, has accustomed us to. In addition, recycling enthusiasts will be delighted, as all the containers used are eco-responsible packaging, made up of up to 97% recycled plastic.
At the heart of every BC Clean Performance product, a vegan care complex
Each product in this hair care range is enriched with a dual-effect technology that strengthens hair elasticity and shine. This complex repairs damaged cells, from the cuticle to the cortex. Internally, it reconstitutes the internal structure of the hair thanks to amino acid chains (vegan keratin). And externally, it fills in the gaps in the hair shaft thanks to Cell Equalizer technology. Its action? Naturally protect hair with a protective layer of proteolipids!
