More efficient hybrid plates

For this new steam straightener, L'Oréal Professionnel and Rowenta have decided to rethink straightening for greater ease. The Steampod plates now combine double technology: floating plates and an anodized coating that gives them better resistance over time. They are also equipped with an integrated comb to detangle hair during straightening or waving.

The plates are adjustable with a thermostat and the temperature can vary from 180 to 210° to straighten all hair types. For even greater precision, the intelligent temperature control is checked twice per second to offer unparalleled precision.

Finally, steam is continuously diffused at a rate of 0.8g/min for homogeneous straightening of the hair fiber. This technology allows instant transformation of the hair fiber with 78% less damage.

Fineness and lightness

This is a major new feature of this Steampod 3.0; the flaws of the previous version have been rethought to offer you an easy-to-handle and maneuverable straightener.

This steam straightener is smaller and more manageable as it is 14% thinner and 3 times lighter than the Steampod 2.0. This allows for a better grip of the device.

We also see that the Steampod has abandoned its rectangular shape for a more rounded one. This new feature therefore allows for the creation of waves. In addition, its cord rotates 360° to avoid tangling during waving.

The tank capacity offers great autonomy, which will be perfect for straightening an entire head, even if the hair is thick.
